Lido Easy Track Committees multisig
Overview
Easy Track is Lido DAO's optimistic-governance mechanism, introduced through LIP-3, for routine and uncontentious operations. Instead of requiring an affirmative on-chain vote, an Easy Track "motion" passes automatically unless LDO holders object: a motion is enacted if objections representing at least 0.5% of total LDO supply are not reached within 72 hours of the motion being started. Only pre-authorised addresses — typically committee multisigs — may initiate motions, and each motion type is constrained to a defined scope such as updating node operator parameters, adjusting staking limits, or disbursing grants within a pre-approved budget. The design reduces voter fatigue and on-chain gas costs while granting sub-committees and node operators more day-to-day autonomy.
