Overview
Firedancer is an independent validator client for the Solana blockchain, developed by Jump Crypto, designed to improve network throughput and reliability. Frankendancer, a hybrid that pairs Firedancer's networking layer with the Agave runtime, has run on Solana mainnet since 2024, and the full Firedancer client went live on mainnet on 12 December 2025 (as of 2026-07-16, its stake share is growing gradually pending completion of full security audits).
