Centrifuge protocol
Overview
Centrifuge is a decentralized credit protocol that tokenizes real-world assets (RWAs) such as invoices, real estate, and royalties, bringing them onto blockchain networks. It enables borrowers to create asset pools to access liquidity, while lenders earn yield by financing these pools. Historically it ran as its own Polkadot parachain (Centrifuge Chain); with its 2025 V3 upgrade Centrifuge migrated to an EVM-native, multichain protocol across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Plume, and the legacy chain is being deprecated.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, Centrifuge connects to 2 tracked entities, most strongly to Lucas Vogelsang, Ethereum.
