Breaking: Digital Chamber Sues Illinois To Challenge New Crypto Tax Law

The Digital Chamber has sued Illinois over its new Digital Asset Tax Act, seeking to halt the law before it takes effect on Jan. 1, 2027. The group claims the 0.2% tax on digital asset activities is unfair and discriminatory compared to traditional finance. It is the first crypto coalition to take such legal action and invites other stakeholders to join.
