Singaporean-Founded Paymonade Clears Europe's New Crypto Regulations -- When Roughly 90% of Europe's Crypto Firms Fail
Damoon Technology (Europe) AG, trading as Paymonade, obtained a MiCA licence from Liechtenstein's FMA, becoming one of only 280 firms authorised EEA-wide after the transitional period closed. This comes as roughly 90% of Europe's 3,000-plus pre-MiCA crypto firms failed to convert. Paymonade, founded by Singaporean Calvin Cheng, reported a US$1.8 billion annualized transaction volume as of H1 2026.
