Cross-border payments app LemFi partnered with stablecoin infrastructure firm BVNK to move its remittance settlement onto regulated stablecoin rails, replacing multi-day correspondent banking with near-instant transfers paid out in local currency. LemFi serves about 2 million customers across more than 30 markets, and the rollout follows Tether's investment in the company in May 2026.
