Standard Chartered-Backed Venture Said to Launch Hong Kong Stablecoin This Month - Caixin Global
Anchorpoint Financial, a joint venture of Standard Chartered's Hong Kong arm, HKT and Animoca Brands, is preparing to launch its Hong Kong dollar stablecoin HKDAP, with an announcement expected before the end of July 2026. Anchorpoint received one of the HKMA's first stablecoin issuer licences in April and completed an Ethereum mainnet transfer test in May.
