Tom Hayes says UBS’s ‘Project Chocolate’ probe shows he was targeted from outset

Former UBS trader Tom Hayes, whose Libor rate-rigging conviction was quashed, is suing the bank for more than $400 million in Connecticut Superior Court for malicious prosecution. He alleges UBS took control of the investigation into its own conduct, ran a fundamentally flawed probe and offered him up as a hand-picked scapegoat.
