The Bank of England's systemic stablecoin regime dropped proposed caps on individual holdings, replacing them with a temporary issuance ceiling of 40 billion pounds (about $52.8 billion) per coin. Issuers may hold up to 70% of reserves in short-term UK government debt, up from a proposed 60%, with the rest in non-interest-bearing Bank deposits.
