Galaxy commits $5M to Bitcoin quantum security initiative
Galaxy Digital launched a Bitcoin Quantum Readiness Initiative on July 21, 2026, committing up to $5 million in developer grants for quantum-resistant signature schemes, wallet migration tools and security audits. It cited roughly 6.9 million bitcoin, about $461 billion, as potentially vulnerable.
