Sri Lanka's Inflation Accelerates to 6.8% in June 2026
Sri Lanka's Colombo Consumer Price Index inflation accelerated to 6.8% year-on-year in June 2026, a three-year high, up from 5.5% in May. Non-food inflation rose to 8.4% and food inflation jumped to 3.6% on higher fish and vegetable prices, with the index up 2.1% month-on-month.
