Timelock Account recovery: A trust minimized recovery system for Smart Accounts

A forum post proposes a timelock-based recovery mechanism for ERC-4337/7579 smart accounts that replaces the guardian model with a permissionless economic game: recovery is initiated by staking LockValue ETH and waiting through a LockTime challenge window, during which the owner can reject the attempt and confiscate the stake, otherwise the recovery finalizes. The design adds anti-front-running commitments and hidden watchtowers with anonymous vetoes to counter informed attackers targeting inactive owners. The system is at the design stage with no implementation yet, and the author is seeking feedback on whether it could coexist with other recovery mechanisms.
