Intel Rallies After Saying It’ll Make More Headcount Reductions
Intel said it will make more headcount reductions, this time in its data center group, and the shares rallied about 8%. The unit generated $5 billion of revenue last quarter, up 22% year on year, and Intel's workforce has shrunk from 132,000 in 2022 to 83,200, heading toward roughly 75,000 by year-end.
