UK FCA publishes final crypto rulebook, cuts stablecoin capital charge to 1%
The FCA finalized its cryptoasset rulebook covering trading platforms, custodians, staking providers and stablecoin issuers. Authorization applications open September 30, 2026 through February 28, 2027, the regime becomes operative October 25, 2027, and stablecoin capital requirements were cut to 1% from 2%.
