Hyperliquid’s HIP-4 proposal fuels HYPE staking as long-term conviction grows

Hyperliquid proposed HIP-4 to introduce permissionless outcome markets, requiring deployers to stake 500,000 HYPE. A trader staked 249,243 HYPE ($15.5M) instead of realizing gains, and total staked HYPE reached 438.7 million tokens (43.9% of supply). Open interest crossed $11 billion in 24 hours.
