JPMorgan says persistent security flaws curb DeFi’s institutional appeal
The bank's analysts, led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, pointed to the KelpDAO exploit, in which an attacker breached a cross-chain bridge and minted $292 million in unbacked rsETH, leaving about $200 million in bad debt, arguing repeated exploits erode institutional confidence in DeFi.
