Overview
The Apollo Diversified Credit Securitize Fund (ACRED) is a tokenised feeder fund that gives onchain investors exposure to the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, Apollo Global Management's diversified global credit strategy spanning corporate direct lending, asset-backed lending, and performing, dislocated and structured credit. It was launched in January 2025 through a partnership between Apollo and the tokenisation platform Securitize, which acts as the issuance and transfer-agent layer. Tokens were issued across Aptos, Avalanche, Ethereum, Ink, Polygon and Solana — Securitize's first tokenised fund deployments on both Solana and Ink. Access is restricted to qualified investors, so ACRED is a permissioned security token rather than a freely tradable stablecoin-style asset. Apollo reported the underlying strategy returned more than 11% annualised over the prior year and more than 5.5% since inception, and the tokenised product drew more than $100 million from investors after going live in January 2025. A leveraged DeFi wrapper, sACRED, was later built so the fund's shares could earn onchain yield. ACRED was announced in January 2025 as Apollo's first move into onchain distribution and the first time the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund was accessible through a blockchain product. In May 2025 it was set for a Solana DeFi debut, and by June 2025 the sACRED wrapper made it, per RedStone, the first private credit fund earning onchain yield.
