Overview
Hidden Road is a non-bank institutional prime broker offering clearing, financing and execution across foreign exchange, digital assets, derivatives and fixed income. Ripple agreed in April 2025 to acquire the firm for about $1.25 billion, one of the largest acquisitions in the digital asset industry, and completed the deal, rebranding the business as Ripple Prime. Ripple has said it will use RLUSD as collateral across Hidden Road's brokerage products and move post-trade activity onto the XRP Ledger.
