Kiln is a Paris-based provider of enterprise-grade staking technology, running validators across major proof-of-stake blockchains on multi-cloud, multi-region infrastructure for institutional clients. It raised €17 million (about $17.6 million) in a round announced in November 2022 led by Illuminate Financial, with participation from Consensys, GSR, Kraken Ventures, Leadblock Partners, Sparkle Ventures and XBTO, bringing total funding to about $35 million. At the time of that raise the company reported over $4 billion of crypto assets programmatically staked and more than 4% of the Ethereum network running on its infrastructure; more recent figures cite over $13 billion of assets staked. Kiln is distributed through institutional custody platforms as well as directly — it is one of the providers in Hex Trust's Staking Partner Program alongside Chorus One, Luganodes and Twinstake. Kiln announced a €17 million round in November 2022 led by Illuminate Financial with Consensys, GSR and Kraken Ventures among investors, taking total funding to roughly $35 million, and used it to expand internationally. Staked assets grew from over $4 billion at that time to a reported $13 billion+.
