NYDIG (New York Digital Investment Group) is a bitcoin-focused financial services firm founded in 2017 by Ross Stevens, who serves as Executive Chairman and is also founder and CEO of NYDIG's parent, Stone Ridge Holdings Group. Unlike diversified crypto firms such as Galaxy Digital, NYDIG focuses purely on bitcoin. Parent Stone Ridge Holdings Group separately announced more than $100 million in bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset in 2020, later reported at around $115 million. Founded in 2017 by Ross Stevens under Stone Ridge, NYDIG announced a $50 million growth equity round in 2020 alongside Stone Ridge's disclosure of a $100M+ bitcoin treasury. It then raised $200 million and $100 million rounds before a $1 billion round at a $7 billion valuation led by WestCap, totalling $1.4 billion raised.
