Overview
Plume Network is an EVM-compatible blockchain purpose-built for real-world assets, designed so tokenised credit, commodities and ETFs can be staked, lent and traded across DeFi rather than sitting in isolated issuance platforms. Its public mainnet, Plume Genesis, launched with over $150 million of real-world assets deployed on-chain and reported $250 million of utilised RWA capital and more than 100,000 active wallet holders, alongside partnerships with major institutions including Blackstone and Invesco. The PLUME token is used for staking, with holders delegating to validators to secure the network and earn rewards, and Plume announced staking at Genesis. Its most significant regulatory milestone came on 6 October 2025, when the SEC approved Plume as a registered transfer agent — reported as the first blockchain-native firm to hold that status — allowing it to keep shareholder records, process ownership changes, track trades, administer funds and report cap tables to the SEC and DTCC within existing US frameworks. In October 2025 Plume also agreed to acquire Dinero to expand institutional Ethereum, Solana and Bitcoin yield offerings. Plume launched its Plume Genesis mainnet with $150 million+ of RWAs onchain and institutional partnerships including Blackstone and Invesco. On 6 October 2025 the SEC registered it as a transfer agent, and in October 2025 it announced the acquisition of Dinero to broaden institutional yield products.
