Pump.fun dapp
Overview
Pump.fun is a token launchpad on the Solana blockchain that lets anyone create a token for a very small fee and trade it immediately, using a fair-launch bonding-curve model with no presale. It was launched on 19 January 2024 by founders Noah Tweedale, Alon Cohen and Dylan Kerler, and by January 2025 more than six million tokens had been created on it. In July 2025 it ran a token sale for PUMP raising about $1.3 billion across public and private tranches. The platform has faced class-action litigation, including claims that it operated as an unregistered securities exchange, and it suspended and later relaunched its livestreaming feature after content controversies.
