Overview
Centrifuge is a multichain protocol for tokenizing real-world assets, in which issuers create on-chain pools backed by off-chain collateral such as US Treasuries, invoices, real estate, royalties and credit portfolios. Assets are pooled and financed by investors who choose between tranches with different risk and return profiles: the senior DROP tranche offers lower, more stable returns, while the junior TIN tranche absorbs first losses in exchange for higher potential yield. The protocol runs on EVM networks including Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum, and its liquidity-pools contracts are developed openly on GitHub. CFG is the protocol's native token.
