Pyth Express Relay product
Overview
Express Relay is a service from Pyth Network that runs protocol-controlled priority auctions for valuable on-chain transactions, most notably liquidations, so that the value normally captured as MEV is routed back to the integrating protocol. It connects DeFi protocols to a shared network of searchers who bid for the right to execute; the Express Relay contract collects the winning bid and forwards a share of the proceeds to the protocol. Integration is permissionless for both protocols and searchers, and the system is owned and governed by the Pyth DAO. It went live on mainnet in 2024.
