deBridge Finance protocol
Overview
deBridge is a cross-chain interoperability infrastructure whose product suite comprises dePort, the deBridge Liquidity Network (DLN) and the deBridge Widget. DLN is the flagship: a high-performance cross-chain value transfer layer with a zero-TVL design, meaning it holds no liquidity pools at all. Instead it uses an intent-based model in which competing solvers fill a user's cross-chain order directly on the destination chain, which removes the pooled-capital honeypot that has been the target of most large bridge hacks and enables near-instant settlement. The protocol connects more than 26 blockchains and its documentation cites over $2.35 billion in transfer volume from around 385,000 unique users. DBR is the native governance and utility token, capped at 10 billion units: holders stake DBR to help secure the network and earn a share of protocol fees, while validators post DBR as collateral and are subject to slashing for malicious behaviour. deBridge built out dePort, the deBridge Liquidity Network and an embeddable widget, moving from a messaging-and-custody model toward the zero-TVL, intent-based DLN design, and later launched the DBR governance and staking token.
