Overview

IBC Eureka is an implementation of Inter-Blockchain Communication v2 that extends IBC beyond the Cosmos ecosystem to Ethereum and other non-Cosmos chains. Developed by Interchain Labs with the IBC core team, it uses Solidity contracts on Ethereum together with zero-knowledge proofs of Cosmos light client verification, so cross-chain transfers rely on light-client security rather than a multisig or optimistic bridge. Announced in 2025, it connects Ethereum to the IBC network of Cosmos chains, with routing and user-facing transfers available through Skip:Go and the Cosmos Hub.
