Overview
The bloXroute Ethical relay was one of several MEV-Boost relays operated by bloXroute Labs for Ethereum proof-of-stake block production, alongside bloXroute Max Profit and bloXroute Regulated. Its distinguishing policy was to filter out MEV bundles containing generalized frontrunning and sandwich attacks, so validators connecting to it would not build blocks containing those user-harming strategies. This contrasted with the Regulated relay, whose filter was OFAC sanctions compliance rather than MEV ethics. The Ethical relay subsequently dropped off the active MEV-Boost relay lists.
