Overview
KMNO is the native governance token of Kamino Finance, a DeFi protocol on Solana that combines lending (K-Lend), automated liquidity vaults and leveraged strategies. The token launched in 2024 through Kamino's Genesis airdrop, which distributed an initial tranche to users based on historical activity and Kamino Points, against a capped total supply of 10 billion tokens. KMNO is used for governance and staking, and Kamino remains one of the largest lending and yield protocols on Solana by total value locked.
