Overview
SKY is the governance token of Sky Protocol, the decentralized stablecoin system accessed through the sky.money interface and operated by independent participants. Holders govern the protocol and can stake SKY to receive a share of protocol revenue as rewards at a variable rate. Sky's native stablecoin is USDS, which is convertible with USDC at one-to-one with no fee and is overcollateralized. Sky's own documentation states that SKY is a decentralized governance token and not a security, investment contract or financial instrument.
