Overview
USDT0 is omnichain stablecoin infrastructure that carries Tether's assets across blockchains, bringing both USDT and XAUT0, tokenised gold, to every supported ecosystem under a single unified liquidity pool rather than a patchwork of separately wrapped versions. It is built on LayerZero's OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard, so transfers move between chains natively while remaining 1:1 backed by native USDT on Ethereum and by Tether Gold respectively. The infrastructure is managed by Everdawn Labs Limited in partnership with Tether. USDT0 operates across more than 25 major blockchain ecosystems including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Chain and Tron, alongside newer networks such as Plasma, Sei and Berachain. Reported metrics include more than $6.2 billion of total volume since launch, over $120 million of current supply across networks and an average transaction size above $37,000 — a profile that reads institutional rather than retail.
