Risk Stewards: Supply and Borrow Cap Reductions on Aave V3 / 2026.07.10

LlamaRisk recommends reducing supply and borrow caps on Aave V3 MegaETH, citing cap utilization well below current demand: USDm supply cap from 1,000,000,000 to 300,000,000 and borrow cap from 600,000,000 to 182,000,000, and USDe supply cap from 800,000,000 to 123,000,000 and borrow cap from 40,000,000 to 30,000,000. The proposed caps would result in post-change utilization of approximately 66.0% supply and 60.2% borrow for USDm, and 66.2% supply and 32.1% borrow for USDe. The updates will be implemented via the Risk Steward process, with the review independently prepared by LlamaRisk, a DeFi risk service provider funded in part by the Aave DAO.
