Overview
The Optimism Foundation stewards Optimism, the Ethereum scaling ecosystem built around the OP Stack and the Superchain, and governs the Optimism Collective. Optimism launched as an optimistic rollup scaling Ethereum and open-sourced the OP Stack, spawning the Superchain of interoperable chains. It has since moved sharply toward enterprise and institutional deployments, with more than 50 OP Stack chains live including those run by Kraken, Bitpanda, OKX and Sony.
