Overview
Partior is a Singapore-headquartered blockchain-based interbank clearing and settlement network, founded in 2021 as a joint venture between JPMorgan, DBS and Temasek with backing from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Standard Chartered became a founding shareholder in 2022. It provides unified ledger-based interbank rails for instant clearing and settlement of cross-border payments, replacing sequential correspondent-banking messaging with atomic settlement on a shared ledger. In July 2024 Partior raised over $60 million in a Series B led by Peak XV Partners with participation from Valor Capital Group and Jump Trading Group, plus JPMorgan, Standard Chartered and existing investor Temasek; proceeds were earmarked for intraday FX swaps, additional currencies and just-in-time multi-bank payments. DBS, J.P. Morgan and Standard Chartered already use the network to settle customer payments, and other customers include Siemens AG and iFAST Financial. Founded in 2021 by JPMorgan, DBS and Temasek with MAS backing; Standard Chartered joined as a founding shareholder in 2022. In July 2024 it closed a Series B of more than $60 million led by Peak XV Partners to expand into intraday FX swaps, more currencies and just-in-time multi-bank payments.
