Overview
LI.FI is a routing and execution layer for DeFi that sits between an application and the fragmented liquidity landscape, aggregating bridges, DEXs, solvers and yield protocols behind a single integration and normalising token standards across chains. Rather than an application maintaining separate integrations for dozens of chains, several bridge protocols and ecosystem-specific DEX aggregators, it integrates LI.FI once and reaches all of those liquidity sources through unified APIs and SDKs. Functionally it covers same-chain and cross-chain swaps, multi-step transaction flows such as bridge-then-swap-then-deposit, discovery of and zapping into yield opportunities, and execution monitoring with automatic fallback routing when a route fails. It ships in three integration forms: a JavaScript/TypeScript SDK for programmatic control, a REST API for direct HTTP access to quotes and transfers, and a pre-built customisable Widget for swap and bridge UI. Its target customers are wallets, exchanges, DeFi applications, fintech platforms and AI agents that need reliable cross-chain asset movement.
