Maverick protocol
Overview
Maverick Protocol is a decentralised exchange built around what it calls a Dynamic Distribution AMM, a design that differs from standard concentrated-liquidity AMMs by letting liquidity positions move automatically as price moves, rather than requiring liquidity providers to manually rebalance ranges. Liquidity providers can choose modes in which their position follows the price up, down or in both directions, which is intended to keep capital productive without constant management. On top of that sits Boosted Positions, a mechanism for directing incentives to specific liquidity ranges so protocols can target rewards precisely at the liquidity they actually need — typically used by token issuers to bootstrap depth around a peg or a target price rather than paying broad, undirected emissions. Maverick is deployed on multiple chains and has a native MAV token used for governance and protocol utility. Its public site is sparse on operational metrics; specific TVL, volume and launch figures are not published there. Maverick introduced the Dynamic Distribution AMM as an alternative to static concentrated-liquidity ranges, and added Boosted Positions as a targeted liquidity-incentive tool. It has expanded to multiple chains and issued the MAV token.
