Overview
OpenOcean is a multi-chain DEX aggregator that sources swap quotes across decentralised and, in its own description, centralised liquidity, covering more than 30 networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, BNB Chain, ZKsync, Scroll, Blast and Bitcoin layer 2s. It evaluates liquidity pools, AMMs and order books across chains and composes split routes where useful to cut slippage and improve execution. Alongside plain swaps it offers gas-free limit orders, cross-chain aggregation, ETH staking aggregation, perpetual trading access, and API and SDK products for integrators. Its native utility and governance token, OOE, is a cross-chain token deployed on BNB Chain as a BEP-20 with a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 and no minting function, and is used for staking rewards and governance; OOE was also launched on Arbitrum. Investors include Binance Labs, Multicoin and CMS. OpenOcean grew from a DEX aggregator into a broader cross-chain aggregation suite spanning 30-plus networks, adding limit orders, cross-chain swaps, staking aggregation and perpetuals access. It launched its OOE token on Arbitrum, extending the BNB Chain-issued fixed-supply token cross-chain.
