Overview
EigenCloud is the developer platform Eigen Labs launched in June 2025 as an extension and rebrand of EigenLayer, the Ethereum restaking protocol. It packages restaked security into verifiable services spanning data availability (EigenDA), off-chain compute (EigenCompute), AI inference (EigenAI) and dispute resolution (EigenVerify). The launch was backed by a $70 million EIGEN token purchase by a16z crypto, which had earlier led Eigen Labs' $100 million Series B in February 2024.
