Overview
frxUSD is Frax's US dollar stablecoin, deployed across more than twenty blockchain networks. Frax states that frxUSD is fully backed by bankruptcy-remote tokenized US Treasury funds managed by asset managers including BlackRock, Superstate and WisdomTree, and that it can be minted and redeemed one-for-one against US dollars. Holders can hold frxUSD for Treasury-derived yield or stake it into sfrxUSD, the yield-accruing version. On-ramps include USDC and tokenized treasuries such as BUIDL, USTB and WTGXX via FraxNet, and Frax publishes reserve balance sheets and transparency reports.
